Got a little crafty over the weekend.

These were inspired by Chanel Runway. I didn't use wire because it rusts.

 So simple but cute!

Only the top (sparkly) part shows for this pin.

Retro bow without having to tie it on pony tail, can be worn with hair down.

 Rose with pearl.

 Purple and white rose

So I decided to get extra crafty because sometimes you just want to add some accents to your hair. Right now I keep seeing new moms with their daughters sporting their big bouquet bows, but the teenagers have some matted looking hair and they never wear any hair pins or anything. This is a simple demonstration on how to make your own hairpins that are simple and fun. I made this with teenagers in mind, and of course as an adult it doesn't hurt to have some sparkly hair pins to catch some attention, especially when we are in a dimmed down restaurant having dinner with our guy. They are so expensive at the stores too, and this way you can make a diverse variety of colors. What are you waiting for? Click the link to my YouTube channel to see the easy tutorial. It is only 5.5 minutes long.

Happy crafting. Fendora

I finally got rid of my acne.

I recently took it upon myself to make a YouTube Video to talk about what I found out about having acne. I struggled for so many years and tried so many products for nothing to have worked. I even went to my Dr. and got prescription gels. I tried everything you can think of, name brand and generic and honestly I have to say I am glad I listened to myself. It can be very traumatic for the self esteem, especially for the teenagers. When the body doesn't get better at solving a problem, no matter what, maybe we need to all together look at how we behave so that our actions don't "make" problems for us. I don't want to spend a whole ten minutes of talking that I did (after editing) writing it here. IT is all explained in my video. I am just glad that by looking at what was CAUSING me to have all kinds of acne, I was able to stop it, because once you have the pimples it is too late, your body is already going through pain and possibly scarring. You want to keep yourself from the hassle and embarrassment altogether.

I did not get paid to promote these products. It is what I use and am sharing because it works for me.

I do use some products from my local drug store to help my skin be nourished, but honestly all cleansers and exfoliating products work the same. As long as you do the washing process right...SCRUB SCRUB SCRUB. Any cleaner alone is not enough and I found that the hard way. Pimples are the consequence to our way of life.

Wishing you all clear skin days. Fendora

Time to get some paper goods and supplies!

So I decided to get more journals and writing stuff because I am always writing things down and I also needed to invest in a decent planner to get myself more organized because I am now lacking time due to my life being all over the place. I wanted to share my HAUL from the stationary isle, and also three housewares items because...well why not? Sharing is caring right?

These are the housewares items that I had mentioned. I want to be more crafty and involved in projects because as a housewife/homemaker, I want to BEAUTIFY my life and my home.

I am curious to know...Do you like stationary items? What do you use to stay organized?
Stay fun in the sun. Fendora

Nail Polish Fun Without Fancy Tools.

I decided to post about my current manicure. Self made manicure and how I did it.

Clip one end of toothpick to make a blunt side and bigger for dotting.

Once you have already polished your nails the way you want them, start dotting them with the big end of the toothpick.

I used the pointy side to create smaller dots or patterns to draw with. Very simple!

I used another blunt side to create the center of the daisy with the EVA's PINK, nail polish from L'oreal. That is the same color for my whole nail. It is coordinated.

Then you just add the top coat and voila!

To make your own at home decals, or stickers, just grab a zip bag like the ones from ZIPLOCK or GLAD and apply a generous amount of nail polish to the bag so that once it dries you can apply it like the store bought ones. SO AFFORDABLE!

Use eyeliner pencils whenever you want to grab 3D decorations or gems for the nails. I struggle with the tweezers to apply little details to my nails. This always helps.

If the nail polish bottle won't open, place it in hot water, but only the lid part. IT will loosen it up and will be able to open.

These are just random colors that I used to show different nail decals that I drew on a plastic bag. I just peel it and apply after trimming off a bit.

Do you have any tips, hacks or advice for doing manicures? Fendora
