Oh yes. It is time to open up a little vault.

Yesterday I was going thorough some boxes here in the house in hopes of organizing my home office area and make it a little more personal at the same time. So I came up with some projects that will make it a bit more fun and engaging to look at.

I used to be in dance for a number of years, but these are only from my sophomore year in high school. I had such great memories during this year. I was old enough to not have to be babysat or chaperoned by parents or relatives, and it was a thing only I did as opposed to other years where my other sisters also did things dance wise with me. So because of this, I was free to be silly with friends.

I got the wonderful opportunity to be coached by Mrs. Jessica Barr. To be dorks, silly and entertained by members of the drum line and the band at competitions during color-guard season.

It was AMAZING. We performed during half time during Friday night football games, and while we waited to perform we would sit at the bleachers...All of us! We would cheer, and the band would play whatever they agreed to play. The cheerleaders would do their cheer, but they were drowned out a lot of the time by us because it was just 12 or 15 of them, and way too many of us to remember. ^_^

We were always doing something. Football half-time performance with color-guard, halftime basketball dance performances, competitions throughout the state and we often won either 1st or placed 2nd! We competed with many teams and some performances took place at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia California, and also Raging Waters,  went to the ROSE BOWL to perform during half time.We WERE ON NATIONAL TV!! How cool is that!? We also performed for the Bakersfield Blitz during half time. IT was awesome times.

 Still have my pom poms

We had our sparkly silver pom poms, and black suit. It worked great during the fall and winter months because we didn't have to wear outer wear with us. We were warm enough with them; not to mention that we were jumping, cheering, running around and dancing so much we were hot all the time.

Cherish your hobbies, sports, and lives! Time will pass and things won't be able to be the same once you stop being in school. These are things that you will always remember.

Do you have any goofy silly pictures to share?

This month I went a little shopping crazy, but here are some of the most recent so far.

I have been having some issues with my laptop computer and my storage capacity is almost full, so I decided to get myself some electronics and just make my life better and more organized.

I love to listen to music, happy, sad, slow, fancy and jazzy. You name it, I listen to it. I have so much music and pictures and video content in both of my laptops, I decided it was time to get cracking with a good old external hard-drive to keep everything in one spot. This way my computer can be freed of junk and it might actually run a bit faster??

Seagate 5TB Expansion Hard-Drive
I also bought some JBL headphones by Harman. I am digging them because I can't do earbuds. Too painful. Besides I like the look of having something in your ears. A two for one, headband and earphones in one. How cool is that! I will definitely be rocking out to all my music with these.

For fashion elements I went with this light pink wallet. It is so cute and perfect for spring! I have been wearing a lot of dark colors due to the colder weather, but this will give me some inspiration for outfits. Lights and pastels. I especially like that it has engravings and a bird or dove. It has positive quotes inside and on the snap closure. That is a big plus for me because who doesn't need a little positivity?

I also bought these very cute loafers. I wear a lot of high heels and winter boots but it is warm out and sometimes I don't want to be going around town wearing high heels. We live in a beach town right now in California, so it is a lot of beach and sandal and boot weather. So I had to compromise a bit to not stand out too much. I mean I will still do what I want when it comes to styling myself, but I don't always want to be over dressed just to go get toiletries in high heels or something and I hate under dressing by wearing sneakers like I just got out of the gym, so I will do dress shoes without the high heel hassle. I think that works best for the time being. I must say they are very comfy and cute!

For some makeup products I went with Lorac's face product. I am digging the pinks right now. Can you tell?

Limited Edition- Lorac Pink Champagne Palette
Last but not least, I purchased an airbrush/aerosol-like foundation makeup because I am trying out new products foundation-wise. I am off color because I have not been out in the sunlight much and my makeup colors are either too light or too orange and it makes me have the dreaded "mask" look. I am curious to try a foundation that I don't have to use with a brush, or sponge, and instead of going all out and spending more than $50 on Dior's foundation, I decided to try Revlon's more affordable one first. My makeup is supposed to match my body and honestly right now nothing matches it. So frustrating! Time to go to a beauty counter and get someone to color match me.

So, I am a happy girl for now after shopping til I dropped. If you have tried these products yourselves let me know how it/they worked out for you and if you had something better.

The unboxing video for these items will be on my YouTube channel for you to check out.

Having some issues with the cat. :(

I had some issue with my cat, Luna. I saw that she had a tape worm on her, and I immediately took her to the vet as soon as they had an opening which was 1 hr 30 min later. I have some issues with other people's cats that are indoor and outdoor cats. They are free to roam around the neighborhood and they bring their fleas to my back yard and when I want my cats to play and get some sunlight in the comfort of their own home they are exposed to what other uncared for cats carry into my home. It is so frustrating!!!

I let them go out for sunlight, stretching out and being playful safely, but they got fleas and so it was time to nuke the house with anti flea bombers throughout. I shaved both of my cats down which is pain-stakingly frustrating because they don't like it. Needless to say, it got done, I applied flea treatment on their backs and placed a flea collar on them to cover my bases. Well, the bumps and fleas were gone, but then I see a worm, and I thought. Eww, gross, and suddenly I saw Luna as a bag of worms walking in my home. YUCKITY YUCK!!!

So, I take her to the vet to get de-wormed from the tape worms she had. Got 2 shots, one to kill the worms, and one to help her with her allergic reaction to fleas. See, she not only had flea bites, the actual flea bite made her get a reaction to the bite, and therefore she was actually pulling her own hair off when grooming because she was so irritated in spots all over. :( poor baby. All because I let them have some sunlight in my back porch where other cats had stopped by during the night or when I wasn't watching. I wish people could just keep their cats in their home so they don't go poop in people's flower beds or lawns. It is so RUDE of them to just let them be free. It is careless, dirty, lazy and dangerous because they can get run over or hurt. I keep my cats in my fenced yard and they never leave. I keep an eye on them. They are my babies and I don't just train them to be like wild kids going over to the neighbors and doing dumb crap for other people to deal with.

I would really appreciate it if people could be more adult about life. But it is not likely to happen. Grown ups think they can do whatever they want and they don't have to improve themselves in any way. Ugh, so frustrating!

So, all in all Luna is better, and wanting to play. The problem now is that because Luna came back from the vet smelling a certain way..(maybe medicine, or other cats, or veterinary smells) now I am dealing with the Alpha cat hissing at Luna and picking a fight. Let's just hope Cloud, doesn't end up so stressed she poops on the floor or somewhere as a retaliation. That is how cats express stress. -_-

This is how you deal with indoor cats. You give them what they need and you protect them from outside critters.

Now they have to be inside cats only and they need to get their sunlight from windows only. :( No more back yard fun. I'm wondering of a way to get stray/neighbor cats to not come over anymore and that way my cats will be free to be in THEIR back yard without picking up others' fleas. Do you have this problem?

Love your cats. Take care of your cats. Fendora

Today, like a lot of days I went on a walk with Mike and we had a wonderful conversation. People don't realize how easy it is to just make time to spend with your loved ones and doesn't have to cost anything. Good views, talking about life, while living a good life.

The day was overcast, with a breezy fog. It was so refreshing and the air was very pleasant. I like the smell of rain/ freshly wet dirt and it is exactly how it smelled. It reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Being a California girl is such a blessing. We have beach everywhere and I am very fortunate to always have lived near the towns where the beach is near. My personal favorite though has to be San Diego. It is warm and beautiful there. Everything is beautiful and the people are wonderful. I miss it so much.

I will give credit to the beach here because I do like that the beach here provides more wildlife activity because I am into observing nature. I like to just sit at the beach and watch the sea lions, and other animals near by do their thing in the water. I have respect for them because, well I am just too chicken to go do what they do. Unless I am on a boat I won't really go too far in the ocean. The water is pretty cold up here and sometimes because of the over cast, the water can look quite dark. SCARY!

Don't forget to appreciate nature, Fendora.

When the weather is just no "bueno".

So, I was hoping that the weather would get nicer and sunnier, but guess what? There is more wind and cold my way.

Living in California is a wonderful thing. I am happy that I can live here and be right on the beach, 10 minutes from the forest, and 15 from the river. I am truly blessed for that, but it is constantly chilly and it makes it hard for me to go out and enjoy nature. If it's green everywhere it is because it is wet outside (not to mention really cold).  We have London-like weather here, so yes...IT RAINS A LOT! Don't get me wrong. I like the rain. Love it, but not in a small town in the middle of a forest. Feeling like Belle from beauty and the beast, minus the royal treatment and ease of access to shopping.

I am a southern California girl, I like the warmth. Wearing shorts, and tank tops and sandals are great! I love dresses and skirts because I am a girly girl, but it is blowing up like crazy outside just when I was getting my hopes up for nicer weather.

For right now I will just stick to my comfy sweaters, and leggings. Workouts are pretty relaxing out doors, but today with such gusty winds, I will be doing an indoor workout with the hubby in the living room. Getting the cardio going...Aerobics time. OH YEAH! Gotta look into what playlist to blast while we jump around like human-bunnies.

I have some things to do and so after my workout, it will be time to get going with the day, and cross off some to-dos. For now I guess I will leave it at this. But I guess what I want to say is, no matter the weather, and limitations, make time to be active in what ever way you can. Indoors or out, your body needs to detox by sweating naturally. It is how mother nature made us.

Time to feel cozy. Fendora

Thinking about Birdie.

I have been a bit absent from the blogging site. I am sorry about that, but I am here to talk about something that I have been thinking about. Wondering how everyone is enjoying their spring so far.

I am an animal lover and I have a lot of respect for living things. IT makes me sad to see animals suffering as much as seeing a human suffering. It is our job to spread love and kindness to all.

Well I have had an issue with a little bird since before Christmas. I remember I was going shopping with Michael for ornaments and lights for the holidays, and I saw this little bird inside the store by the bird seed section. I thought, wow, this little bird is so smart. Independently came into the store probably by the gardening section and just didn't leave. Well, the ceiling of the store has skylights where the light naturally comes in and the bird gets sunlight, but I was concerned.

Even in the best cage. You are still trapped.

It has been a few months now and I see a little bird flying around the store and I feel very sad for it. I want it to be set free. It is probably all by itself, lonely and bored. Like a caged bird without any real human interaction or any love from other animals. It just goes up to the skylights like if trying to escape, but it is there. It makes me sad. We asked an employee if it was the same bird from December and she replied it probably was. I don't think there is a for sure way to know, but I want to set the little bird free. It is well fed, and although I don't know where it gets water and it is kept from the elements and dangers from predators, I don't think it is truly happy being in a warehouse size cage. It needs a way out. :(

I can't stop thinking about this little bird. Every time I go to the store I end up looking for it and I find it almost right away. I wish there was a way it could come to me so that I could take it outside instead of it flying as high as it does and away from humans. There is nothing worse than being trapped without someone caring for you and being in a place you didn't want to stay in. It is mating season! You know this little guy needs someone to love.

I will look out for this bird. First to talk to the manager. I want to see all birds happy and free singing away, enjoying life.

I wish I had wings to fly. Fendora
