Ever since I was a little child I have always had an issue with people all over the map having smelly feet. I remember going to camp and all of us being tired from being out and about all day in the heat and mud during 3rd grade.
Check out the YouTube link  or click below for full video.

We were so beat and drained we did not think of showering because it was really late at night and it was cold. So showers would have to wait til morning time for all of us girls. Low and behold, when we were all in our jammies with our face and teeth washed we went to our bedroom and laid in bed. Well, to my surprise, as soon as everyone's shoes came off, there was shoe stink galore! HOLY COW! I couldn't believe people had such smelly feet, and I am here to share my secrets on how I learned to keep the smell at bay. Hope you find it helpful because it is never too late heal those feet.

I spend yesterday running errands and doing my Monday to dos as usual. Along with that at the end of the day we decided to go out to a flick and since I really like Pixar's productions, we went with "Finding Dory". I have to say this one did not disappoint. As you all may have heard, it is quite the box office hit. You will not be disappointed with it. Make sure you go for the movie previews so you can watch the short clip before the main feature. It is called "Piper" . That clip is about a little beach bird who is afraid of the water like the rest of those birds always running from the waves time and time again. She is very afraid, but learns to conquer her fears. She just pushes through and I think it sends a wonderful message to the young viewers to keep fighting for what they want.

I guess the same can be said about Finding Dory... This movie has it all. Family, struggles, trust, encouragement, I got very teary eyed in some moments because it hit home a few times. There are loved ones in my life that struggle with family matters and I just love that they focus on things we all go through in life and like our little blue fish friend says. "Just keep swimming." You have to keep fighting for what you want in life. It is full of positive messages that we desperately need to instill in our children. From being aware of being kind to marine life, to how we care for them in rehabilitation, to family life, to learning experiences and personal growth. The story line is great and it is not the typical cliche movie. Every scene is unexpected and they created every scene flawlessly. I really recommend you take your kids to watch it. I don't have kids of my own, My husband and I went together and WE loved it. I am not payed to say or write anything about this movie. This is just my personal opinion of the movie. My experience.

On a side note. Being childless does come with drawbacks sometimes because going to public places where there ARE children means you have no defenses against their germs. Kids coughing up a storm and coughing in their hands and touching the handles or doors on the way out = no bueno for me... AIRBORNE time.
Have you watched this movie yet? What did you think of it?

Time to perk up the hair dos this summer.

 beautiful double braid crown headband

High half top hairstyle with waves
Headband made of twisting your own hair.

Rose Gold Hair Pins from my DIY hair pin tutorial.
Standard black bobby pins.

Today I decided to make a blog about hairstyles I am wearing right now. Summer is such a wonderful time to experiment with prints, patterns and colors. I am not that big on patterns, I am very classic when it comes to fabric, but I do like color. Besides the color of the clothing, I like to switch it up from time to time with the hairstyles and here are some examples on how I got the hair dos.
From teasing, to braiding, hair spraying, and curling, hair is always such an important part of a woman's every day routine. Hair can make us look grown up, childish, "ratchet" or sophisticated. So let's just see how I got my hair "did". I have a YouTube video in the link above for it. IT is simple, fun and the hair looks beautiful.

Got a little crafty over the weekend.

These were inspired by Chanel Runway. I didn't use wire because it rusts.

 So simple but cute!

Only the top (sparkly) part shows for this pin.

Retro bow without having to tie it on pony tail, can be worn with hair down.

 Rose with pearl.

 Purple and white rose

So I decided to get extra crafty because sometimes you just want to add some accents to your hair. Right now I keep seeing new moms with their daughters sporting their big bouquet bows, but the teenagers have some matted looking hair and they never wear any hair pins or anything. This is a simple demonstration on how to make your own hairpins that are simple and fun. I made this with teenagers in mind, and of course as an adult it doesn't hurt to have some sparkly hair pins to catch some attention, especially when we are in a dimmed down restaurant having dinner with our guy. They are so expensive at the stores too, and this way you can make a diverse variety of colors. What are you waiting for? Click the link to my YouTube channel to see the easy tutorial. It is only 5.5 minutes long.

Happy crafting. Fendora
