A DESK THAT HELPS WITH WEIGHT LOSS



Contrary to popular belief, being a "you tuber" is not as easy as it looks.

Depending on the type of niche you are working in, or how detailed your videos are, editing can take forever! That is part of the job I guess and since I can't change that I needed to ADAPT!

I love to edit and to bring my videos a bit more "seasoning" with the editing process, but it does take a while to go through the footage and determine the cuts that will make it to the final video and all that, but that means I am at my desk for a lot of hours per week.

This doesn't just apply to anyone who makes you tube videos though. Anyone at work, or school or anyone who spends a lot of time sitting down in front of the computer is probably sitting there too long and they just don't know it or don't know what to do to help the issue.


I thought I would share the reasons why I decided to buy a stand-to-sit desk and my experience with it. I MADE A VIDEO WITH MORE DETAILS HERE

Just off the top of my head, there is the issue of poor circulation that can lead to varicose vein issues, and blood clots that can turn into heart attacks, poor posture can cause back and neck pain, and the dreaded body gains weight because of lack of mobility. Go figure!

We went with a FancierStudio Rising Desk. Yup we got 2 of them actually! WE loved them and I am not being sponsored or paid by them or anything. This is me telling you honestly that I love it!

So, to tell you more a bit about it. It is black, very sturdy and also smooth to operate.
 It is very roomy (38 inches wide) and comfortable to set your laptop or monitor(s) on there.
You take it out of the box and set it on top of your own desk. (you need a separate table or desk to set it on)
The best part??? NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!!!
You just squeeze the levers on the sides- outwards and it can be adjusted up or down. THAT'S IT!
There are 8 levels of height you can adjust it to depending on how tall or short you are, and when it is fully extended it goes up 17.7" so however tall your own desk is plus those 17" is how tall it can get. I have mine at level 4 currently. I am not the tallest person so that is fine with me.

All in all, it is a great investment because I no longer have to sit down for to the point my booty starts to hurt or my neck is straining or my legs are falling asleep because I am sitting for too long.I can just raise up my desk and stand up to continue working. Before the solution was to stop working altogether for a while and do something else. Now, I stretch out my body as I work in front of my desk and move a bit in place to just keep my body comfortable.
It is so worth it. And I am already noticing the health benefits, especially on my neck! SORENESS gone! and best of all? By standing up my food digests better and I get to walk a little bit in place so it is extra calories being burned, even if I stand because the body has to use energy to keep me standing so I am ALL for it! ^_^
